Joe, you always sell yourself short! Your voice really works on some of these tunes, you know.
But, hey, I’m glad you didn’t think so because then I wouldn’t have been invited to join you in making this music!
I had no idea what these songs would turn into…I just saw it as a great opportunity for me to push myself as a singer and performer…and to help create something original.
There’s nothing like hearing what you’ve sung over and over and over again to humble you. But also to learn how important tiny little things–a breath here, a pause there–make in achieving a performance that you would want to listen to.
So, yeah! I’d definitely say it was worth it! Now if we could just find a way to make some money at it…….
